Just learned the basics in how to ride a motorcycle. The street I live on is very quiet and has very little traffic so it is a perfect street. I was initially terrified and was hesitant to try but peer pressure made me overcome any doubts I had. Learning how to ride a motorcycle is easier than learning how to drive a manual car. It’s the same basic principles with the clutch and shifting but not as difficult. I didn’t go past second gear and only went up and down my block. My first attempt in turning around resulted in the bike slowly falling sideways. Luckily there was no damage to the bike and I was basically in neutral so only my pride was wounded. After that, I didn’t attempt it again and walked the bike when I needed to turn around. It was fun and not as bad as I thought it was and look forward to practicing more.
