FEMA trailers have been used in the past as a form of intermediate temporary housing. However, they are not meant for long term living. This project aims to create a modular, pre-configured SIP panel shelter that would act as an upgrade to the FEMA trailer, in both materiality and spatial arrangement. It will be able to function off the with the idea that multiple could be connected, increasing the number of rooms and square footage. It becomes a permanent home to live in, rather than a temporary shelter.
